50/50 All-School Art Show

The Art Institute of Phoenix Pride Club
Who can enter?
- Any current or new student, staff, or faculty member at The Art Institute of Phoenix (with a $5.00 entry fee per piece)
What can I enter?
- Any type of art, painting, drawing, photography, or computer generated artwork.
- Artwork may not be larger than 11”x17”.
- All artwork must be framed and be ready to hang.
- You may enter as many pieces as you like, $5.00 fee for each piece entered.
What can I win?
- For just a $5.00 entry fee you could win BIG!
- Best-In-Show – Wins CASH, 50% of the TOTAL ENTRY AND ADMISSIONS FEES.
- First Place – Wins a $30 Gift Certificate to The Art Institute of Phoenix Art Supply Store.
- Second Place – Wins a $20 Gift Certificate to The Art Institute of Phoenix Art Supply Store.
- Third Place – Wins a $10 Gift Certificate to The Art Institute of Phoenix Art Supply Store.
- 10 Merit Awards – 10 Merit Award winners will receive a “College for Creative Minds T-Shirt”.
How do I enter?
- Deliver your artwork –
- Present your artwork and a $5.00 entry fee to members of the Pride Club during week 2 of the Summer quarter, July 21-23.
- Members of the Pride Club will be in front of the elevators collecting artwork Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, July 21-23.
- Complete the following forms when you drop off artwork –
- Entry form, Release form, and Artwork label.
- Attend the opening night reception and awards presentation –
- There will be a $5.00 admission fee to attend the open night reception. This fee is also part of the 50/50 Best-In-Show prize. Artists who have work on display do not have to pay to attend the opening.
- The opening night reception and awards presentation will take place on Friday, August 7, from 6pm to 8pm at The Art Institute of Phoenix Gallery Café.
- Live music and refreshments will be included.
- Pick-up your artwork –
- On Monday, August 17, sign-out for your artwork at the front reception desk before removing.
Please Note:
- Invite friends, family, and co-workers to the opening night reception, Friday August 7, the more people that attend and pay the $5.00 opening night admission fee, the bigger the 50/50 Best-In-Show prize will be!
- Artwork can only be dropped-off and picked-up on designated days and times above.
- All artwork must be displayed for the entire length of the show July 24-August 17.
- The Art Institute of Phoenix reserves the right to display artwork at the school’s discretion.
